- Design and implement network simulations using NS3 to study the behavior of computer networks
- Develop custom modules to extend the capabilities of NS3 as needed
- Write efficient and effective code in C++ and Python to meet project requirements
- Debug and fix code to resolve errors and improve performance
- Analyze simulation results to identify trends and patterns in network behavior
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and quality assurance specialists
- Keep up-to-date with new features, tools, and best practices in network simulation and NS3
- Write technical documentation, including user manuals and help files
- Test network simulations and verify their functionality
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of NS3 and network simulation
- Experience with C++ and Python programming
- Familiarity with network protocols and wireless networks
- Ability to write clear and efficient code and debug complex software systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients
