Performs routine maintenance and monitoring tasks that ensure continuous operations of the data warehouse. Ensures that data are accessible.


Essential Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Supports the collection, compilation and analysis of data to create BI reports, dashboards and analyses to satisfy business needs.
  • Collaborates with Operations and Support to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Supports the management and maintenance of the DW platform and BI tool.
  • Understands and analyze business data and BI requirements.
  • Monitors and tune data warehousing processes and performance.
  • Provides Level 3 maintenance and support for incidents escalated by Technical Support.
  • Provides problem management support as part of the problem management process.
  • Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
  • Participates in self & others' education, training and development, as applicable.
  • Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.

Education:

Master's or Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related discipline is required.


Experience Required:


Three (3) years of related experience with Master's Degree, or five (5) years of related experience with Bachelor's Degree is required.
