Job Summary

Urea Technologist is expected to Initiate Propose andExecute research and development Debottlenecking/Revamp Energysaving Sustainability improvement programs directed towards theimprovement of processes and commercial technologies. Lead inhousenew process technology development scale up & implementationsin commercial plants. Provide technology support to commercialplants for the shutdown turnover and recommissioning as needed.Provide troubleshooting & Root cause analysis support and driveproblem resolution for commercial plants. The technologist is alsoexpected to provide support in Growth Projects

KeyResponsibilities:

• Provide directions and lead Urea development technologyand project selection specifically low biuret N2 N3technologies
• Aware of Decarbonization solutionin the industry and can link it to the technology selectionexercise
• Provide troubleshooting & Rootcause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercialplants
• Development of Plant wide Model inAspen Plus or like and Guide the PlantImprovements/Performance
• Carry out Energy andmass balance calculations Energy Optimization/Pinch Studies Pumphydraulics calculations Heat exchanger design & calculationsVarious Catalyst performances evaluation Feasibility study &Revamp study
• Independently Review EngineeringDocuments & Steer technology selection and technologyimprovements
• Provide technology support tocommercial plants for the shutdown turnover and recommissioning asneeded
• Provide insights directions and supportto products development within the group
• Actively contribute to safety culture coaching youngemployees and initiate new programs

Requirements:

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Riyadh SaudiArabia.
• Masters or PhD ispreferred
• Experience of 15 years of directlyworking supporting and implementing various process improvementenergy improvement solutions in Urea assets built with varioustechnology providers
• Strategic thinking andplanning
• Leadership skills to work andinfluence highly talented people with diversified disciplines andcultures
• Ability to create foster and driveculture for innovation
• Excellent interpersonaland communication skills
• Highlyselfmotivated
