Provides complete support for all office activities for the supervisor of the assigned area.


Essential Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Serves as primary contact for persons seeking appointments with the assigned supervisor arranging such appointment to avoid unnecessary interuption with the supervisor schedule and refering visitors or telephone callers to subordinate personnel as necessary.
  • Screens incoming mails and re-routes to other units for action where appropriate.
  • Provides routine information from records to other Hospital's units as requested.
  • Initiates a variety of correspondences reports and records, some of which contain confidential information/data.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information and correspondence.
  • Types documents reports and correspondence.
  • Maintains an accurate logging/filling system for the various departments.
  • Utilizes computers for variety of activities.
  • Maintains knowledge and record of current Hospital's policies and procedures.
  • Participates in Department/Unit specific and Hospital's wide quality improvement plan as required.
  • Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.
  • Follows all Hospital's related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, English Language, Secretarial field, or related discipline is required


Experience Required:

No experience with Bachelor's Degree or two (2) years of secretarial experience with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.

Required Typing Skills:

Bilingual:
Arabic typing: 20 WPM English typing: 30WPM


Non Bilingual:
English typing: 35WPM

Saudi National is Preferred.
