Primary Responsibilities
In the role of
Senior Master/Urban Planner, we'll count on you to:
- Independent collection, preparation and management of project-related data from the areas of land use planning, urban development and landscape planning
- Auditing and review of detailed master planning and verification of compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participation in the preparation of and participation in public information events and hearings
- Review and auditing developers' master plans
- Completion of other tasks as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or closely related field
- A minimum of 10 years experience in regional and local planning and design
- AICP certification desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Extensive graphics and report document production experience
- Experience with GIS
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
- May require the ability to travel
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employeeowned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field
