Responsibilities:

  • Technology Integration:
  • Leverage advanced logistics technology to enhance visibility, tracking, and communication throughout the supply chain.
  • Implement digital solutions to streamline documentation processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with air, sea, and land freight operations.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to address disruptions and ensure business continuity.

Import and Export Process

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of both import and export processes, including documentation, regulations, and procedures for air, sea, and land freight.
  • Ensure adherence to import and export compliance requirements, facilitating efficient crossborder movements.
Saudi Customs and Clearance

Knowledge:

  • Possess expert knowledge of Saudi Arabian customs regulations and clearance procedures for imports and exports.
  • Collaborate closely with customs authorities to navigate and expedite the clearance process, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Marine & Ship Spare Parts:

  • Specialize in the logistics of marine and ship spare parts for both import and export scenarios.
  • Develop tailored logistics solutions for the efficient movement of marine and ship spare parts across borders.

Knowledge About Product Classification and Customs Procedures:

  • Proficiently classify products for both import and export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with customs regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in customs procedures related to both inbound and outbound shipments.
Saber

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate expertise in the Saudi Product Safety Program (Saber) for both imports and exports.
  • Ensure that all shipments, whether entering or leaving the country, comply with Saber regulations, coordinating documentation and approvals as required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.


Experience:

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding with a focus on air, sea, and land logistics.

Demonstrated experience in managing import and export operations.


Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of Saudi Arabian customs regulations and clearance procedures.

Expertise in marine and ship spare parts logistics.

Proficiency in product classification and customs procedures.

Familiarity with the Saber system.


Skills:
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful carrier management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to develop and manage budgets for logistics operations.

Proficient in logistics software and technology solutions.


Compliance:
Proven ability to ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.

Track record of successfully navigating customs clearance challenges.


Multimodal Expertise:
Comprehensive understanding of air, sea, and land logistics operations.

Experience in optimizing multimodal transportation solutions.


Performance Metrics:
Experience in establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations.


Emergency Response and Crisis Management:
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement emergency response plans and manage crises in the logistics field.

Proven leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high-performance logistics teams.
