    LocalEyesis recruiting freelance talents to be part of its global andgrowing community offreelancers.

    Weare looking for Freelance translators with Arabic willing toprovide translation and localization services in the Marketing andIT sectors. For this role you will be working as part of a dynamicteam and in an international environment.

    Specific responsibilitiesinclude marketing and IT translations linguistic review and QAchecking of terminology consistency through the management of TMsglossaries and style guides to guarantee the quality ofdeliverables.


    Fieldof expertise:
    Marketing IT Documentation Transcreation Computer.

    This project is ongoing with a start date to be determined(approximately 1 week advanced notice will be given before thefirst startdate).

    Schedule:
    This work is based on project needs. Hours can therefore vary andflexibility with a changing schedule is very important. There mightbe full days of work in a row several times peryear.

    Requirements

    Mainrequirements:

    Native in Arabic with a degree in Applied Linguistics Translationor equivalent experience
    ITskilled with knowledge and experience of SDL Studio and CATtools
    Preferred experience as atranslator specialized in translation and proofreading of therequired field (marketing and IT)
    Editorial and/or journalistic skills and uptodate with language andterminology trends
    Excellentwritten and spoken English to truly understand the meaning andtranslate as if it were originally written in targetlanguage
    Well familiar with USAmerican culture and pop culture in order to recognise the authorsplay on words or visual references and able to adequately localizeinto target language
    Obsessed bythe detail qualitydriven and has a passion forlanguages
    Understanding andattitude to work within a confidentialenvironment
    Able to work in afast paced demanding environment with multiple changes in projectpriorities and tight deadlines
    Available to travel as the businesscalls
    Ability to work underpressure and meet tight deadlines
    Good availability potentially at least 46 hours per day and quickresponsetimes

    Mainrequirements:
