- Architecting,designing and building REST services which can scale horizontallyusing NodeJS
- Advancedknowledge of JavaScript
- Understandingof the fundamental principles of asynchronous code
- Theability to write efficient, scalable, reusable code
- Experiencein both NoSQL and relational databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL orsimilar databases) and an advanced understanding of data modeling
- Experiencein an OO language like Python/Flask (preferable), Java, Ruby, .Net,etc.
- IdentityManagement and Security (SSL protocols, data encryption, userauthentication, authorization services)
- Proficientunderstanding of Git
- Goodunderstanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture,data structures and algorithms
- Deepunderstanding of service-oriented and microservice architectures
- Workingknowledge of AWS and its related services (EC2, S3, RDS, Route53,Elastic Beanstalk and more) or an equivalent cloud provider, Linuxand shell scripting
- Knowledgeof Nginx, Docker, gunicorn is a plus
- Theability to take ownership of a complex feature or project andindependently execute it in an end-to-end manner
