- Provide on-site post construction management oversight during equipment and pipelines testing, equipment calibration, start up and commissioning, and documentation during both the design and construction process.
- Responsible for coordination between Owner and Contractor for all start up and commissioning tasks and activities.
- Serve as a witness for all Equipment Test and Startup activities.
- Interfaces with Owners/Clients to define project requirements to minimize the equipment's downtimes.
- Reviews Contractor's construction schedule in terms of adequate durations and logistical sequence for startup and testing, commissioning, and training tasks and activities, and aligns project work plan and deadlines with deliveries.
- Review on-site startup and testing processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings and specifications, safety and security requirements, other contractual terms, and applicable codes.
- Startup and Testing Meetings' attendance (on-site/off-site or video conferencing) and provides timely official project status reports (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).
- Provides technical support on a daily basis to all assigned projects.
- Directs field oversight for all Startup and Commissioning activities at the project site in accordance with pre-established policies, project schedules, drawings, specifications, contractual terms, plans and procedures. Here's What You'll Need:

We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Thermal Power Start Up and Commissioning Supervisors to grow with our team. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.
As the Start Up and Commissioning Supervisor, you will report to the client's Commissioning Manager and will be part of the Client's Program management team for new critical thermal power projects – including both gas turbine and reciprocating engine technologies running on both liquid and gas fuels. This will include but not limited to owner coordination and overall project testing, oversight of the project startup and commissioning activities through to occupancy and handover to the Operations and Maintenance teams. This position is client facing and would be the direct contact as Owners Representative with an emphasis on ensuring testing, start up and commissioning.
