Job Overview:
The Senior Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the project's planning, scheduling, and cost control activities.

The incumbent will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered within budget, on time and to the required quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the project master schedule and ensure that it is integrated with all other project plans.
  • Monitor project progress against the schedule and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain project controls procedures and processes.
  • Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports to ensure that the project is delivered within budget.
  • Prepare and maintain risk management plans and monitor the project's risk profile.
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports and distribute them to project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the construction team to ensure that project plans are feasible and reflect the project's requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance and training to project team members on project controls processes and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls management, with at least 5 years of experience in managing large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes, procedures, and codes.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's construction regulations and requirements would be an advantage.
