Job Purpose:

The role of the Product Manager is to design, develop and drive implementation plans of the product portfolio across dnata in line with the overall Group strategy.

Launch products into new and existing line of business and markets within regional remit of responsibility. Effectively match products and customer needs. Key Responsibilities Plan
  • Develop region and destination strategies to meet the needs of the business and achieve revenue growth in collaboration with management, ensuring objectives and product plan are aligned with Group vision.
  • Develop and maintain strong mutually beneficial, long term strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Report, measure and make recommendations on all activity to improve the effectiveness of our future products.
Work proactively with the brands and fulfilment areas to optimize conversion rates. Deploy
  • Create the required destination and product content for online or printed promotional material i.
e. websites, brochures, flyers, tactical to meet market specific timelines and requirements.
  • Provide in depth specialist knowledge and training of regional associated featured products to all areas of the business as commercially or operationally required.
Plan, execute and deliver a yearly FAM Trip programme to achieve destination and product in-depth knowledge. Lead
  • Lead campaign management in conjunction with the line of business engaging all key stakeholders in initial campaign discussions to ensure knowledge sharing and aligned approach.
  • Drive the Group's quarterly campaigns with the right product mix as well as key Tourism Board and destination partner campaigns.
  • Conduct post campaign review session with internal and external stakeholders.
Execute
  • Manage team members through coaching, training, development, career progression and motivate by role modelling leadership and team work behaviours.
  • Manage the performance management process for staff across the section by ensuring quality and timely feedback and completion of PM reviews.
  • Work with the line of businesses and internal stakeholders to drive implementation of the product strategy with a focus on core destinations, right product lines to achieve destinations and ORCs targets.
  • Brief product via Salesforce for tactical campaigns.
Working with the team on all aspects related to rates, allocations, release periods and service delivery, within defined business timeframes.

Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications
  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.
g. business, travel and tourism) Experience - 8yrs+ experience in Travel / Tourism, at least 5yrs of which are in management/supervisory capacity
  • Experience in business improvement concepts, communication plans, business processes and planning, and performance measurement; B2B and B2C sales experience.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Tech savvy with the ability to communicate technical product features and benefits effectively
  • Ability to listen, advise, counsel, influence and negotiate at all levels
  • Proven communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Numeracy / analytical skills
  • Experience in commercials / sales and marketing in the airline, travel related, or service industry
  • Fluency in Arabic would be advantageous.
