    Job Title:ServiceTechnician.

    Job Classification:Operational ServiceSupport.

    JobLocation:KSA.

    JobPurpose:

    The position isresponsible for providing offsite corrective & preventativemaintenance along with other aftersales technical support solutionsto maintain and rectify machinery that has been sold. Additionallythe Service Technician will need to communicate with consumers toprovide information and instructions on how to handle theirquestions issues and requests.

    JobAccountabilities:

    • TechnicalDiagnostics and Repairs: Diagnose faults andrecommend repair solutions to the Regional Service Manager. Createeffective technical reports on mechanical failure analysis andwarranty and provide them to the Regional Service Manager. To beable to operate all equipment and fully understand its function toevaluate performance and determine if a problem exists or not.Interpret service and parts manuals as well as schematics/diagramsfor application to the repair plan. Advise customers on equipmentoperations and preventivemaintenance.
    • Compliancewith Service Policies and Procedures: Ensure thatall work is carried out following company occupational health andsafety regulations and with relevant environmental standards.Follow company uniform (dressing code) and safety gear at alltimes. Carry out repairs as per industry and supplierprescribedstandards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and workshopfloor.
    • TechnicalSkills Development: Have a minimum requiredunderstanding of necessary machine systems and identify problemsusing necessary electronic and mechanical tools as per suppliersinstructions. Compliance with Technician Career Development Plan(TCDP). To assist in the training and development of TraineesMechanics and electricians through On Job Training and coordinateprogress with Supervisors and the service development team. Havecomprehensive knowledge of both the mechanical and electricalaspects of the machinery andequipment.
    • Utilization/ Productivity / Efficiency: Carry out repairs toequipment in the minimum possible time and the minimum number oftrips to customers sites and alternatively within the companyworkshop.

    • Effectiveinstallation ofequipment.
    • Effectiveservice delivery.
    • Development of preventive maintenancemeasures.
    • Regular& timely quality assurance and safetychecks.
    • Cleanliness ofworkshop floor/ops

    • Turnaround time for welding work 100% compliance with health andsafety standards.
    • Maximumcompliance to best industry and supplierprescribed troubleshootingstandards.
    • Level oftraining to ensure that skills match or exceed the technicalstandards required.
    • Compliance with TCDP and related technical competencytests.
    • High productivitylevels.
    • Positive customerfeedback.

    KeyRequirements:

    • GoodCommand of Spoken and Written EnglishSkills.
    • TechnicalDiploma.
    • 3 years ofexperience in heavymachines.
    • Knowledge ofthe Schematics and the diagrams of the heavymachines.
    • Advanced toexpert skills in hydraulic and mechanical repair andtroubleshooting.
    • Able toread hydraulicschematics/diagrams.
    • Hasgood knowledge of our products or equivalent competitorunits.
    • Able to do Testingand Adjusting Assembly and Disassembly and Advance Troubleshooting.Commissioning.
    • Advancerepairs and Troubleshooting. SME for at least one Division /Product Line. ApplicationSupport.
