About the Role
***The Middle East and Africa (MEA) Driver Vertical is seeking a highly motivated and results-driver team member to own the driver vertical in Saudi Arabia. If you love setting a vision, managing cross-functional partners, pushing projects forward to deliver strategically meaningful results, and solving problems from both 30,000 feet as well as deep in the details, this is the role for you.


We are looking for a strong problem-solver with a get-it-done attitude to lead our driver growth, engagement and retention initiatives in Saudi Arabia.

This person will work with others outside and inside of Uber to ensure that we are able to grow our driver base in Saudi Arabia and provide them with the best possible experience on the Uber platform.


As a Saudi Arabia Driver Lead, you will play a crucial role in understanding driver preferences and behavior, expanding our driver base, supporting new product launches, driving driver acquisitions, and enhancing the overall driver experience and conversion rates.

Your innovative strategies and data-driven approach will be key in identifying and implementing initiatives that attract, engage, and retain high-quality drivers, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of our platform.


What You'll Do
***- Develop and implement driver acquisition strategies for Saudi Arabia to increase the number of qualified drivers on the Uber platform.

  • Analyze driver performance metrics and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement and optimize driver acquisition and onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Safety, Legal, and product teams to design and implement campaigns and initiatives aimed at enhancing driver acquisition, engagement and satisfaction.
  • Develop/Maintain the best referral incentives' structure while optimizing spend and enhancing the return on investment.
  • Implement strategies to limit driver churn and improve driver retention, ensuring a sustainable and stable driver base.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry changes and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Use data analytics and reporting tools to track and measure the effectiveness of driver growth initiatives, providing actionable insights to optimize results.
  • Work collaboratively with local, regional and global teams to optimize the driver experience in Saudi Arabia. You'll understand driver requirements, issues and strive to address them. You'll want them to get as much out of our platform to ensure their success
  • Handle Hero network relationships, working with this 3rd party network to ensure that their business is sustainable and delivers value to our platform and drivers.
  • Empower your team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) to continually levelup their results, expectations, and stretch for increasingly higher levels of impact.

What You'll Need
***- A minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in operations management, management consulting, investment banking and/or start ups.

  • Demonstrated strong executional excellence with a track record of delivering results in a fastpaced environment.
  • Possess functional expertise in driver growth, acquisition, or related areas, coupled with a strategic attitude to drive impactful initiatives
  • Customer obsession & go get attitude is a must.
  • Experience talking to customers, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish trust with internal/external partners
  • Exceptional project management skills. You have proven ability to lead initiatives at your organization across multiple teams.
  • A datadriven approach and the ability to translate data into actionable insights through sound business judgement
  • Excellent organizational skills and a selfstarter attitude
  • Arabic language is a Must.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Experience managing a team is a plus
