Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Data Domain systems at client sites.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Data Domain systems, including identifying and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement solutions for Data Domain system upgrades, performance optimizations, and capacity planning.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their specific requirements and create customized configurations for Data Domain systems.
  • Perform regular system health checks, monitor system performance, and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and incident reports.
  • Assist in training clients on the effective use and administration of Data Domain systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest Data Domain technologies and best practices.
  • Configure basic settings, CIFS shares and NFS mounts
  • EMC/3rd party backup solutions integration with Data Domain (DDBoost/CIFS)

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Experience with Data Domain systems and related technologies. ( Required )
  • Knowledge of data backup and recovery concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
