Morgan Philips Executive Search, the Digital Headhunting Company, is currently recruiting a Senior Engineer Maintenance W/M for one of the biggest Manufacturing Industry actor.

The role of a Senior Engineer Maintenance is to oversee and manage the maintenance activities within an organization.

They are responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities, while also ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

This position requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various teams

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, schedules, and strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. This includes preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities.

Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians or engineers, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary. Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.

Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues or malfunctions. Diagnose problems, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions to minimize disruptions and breakdowns.

Coordinate and perform repair and maintenance activities, either independently or by overseeing external contractors. Ensure that work is carried out according to safety guidelines, quality standards, and within budgetary constraints.

Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards. Develop and implement safety procedures, risk assessments, and control measures to mitigate hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, equipment history, and inventory. Generate reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and budget utilization.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement. Propose and implement improvements in maintenance techniques, procedures, and equipment reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to support maintenance activities and optimize overall operational efficiency. Participate in meetings, provide technical expertise, and contribute to decision-making processes.

Activities


Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance activities, work orders, asset management, preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory management, and equipment history.

Use of CAD/CAM Software for designing and manufacturing components and equipment.


Data Analysis and Visualization Tools to analyze maintenance data, perform statistical analysis, identify trends, and visualize data through charts and graphs.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.). A master's degree may be preferred for senior positions.

Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong technical knowledge of maintenance techniques, equipment, and systems.

Familiarity with safety regulations, quality standards, and maintenance best practices.

Leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage a team.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies.
