Your new role, what's involved?

  • Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects with a focus on transport and urban planning, including roads, highways, bridges, railways, and public transit systems.
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support throughout all project phases.
  • Establish project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to project milestones, deadlines, and financial targets.
  • Liaise with clients, government authorities, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing effective mitigation strategies and resolutions to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, presentations, and updates to clients, senior management, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, innovation, and knowledge sharing among project team members.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to facilitate their professional development and growth.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects, particularly in transport and urban planning.
  • Professional certification (PMP, Prince2, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of successfully leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, with the ability to effectively manage project documentation, schedules, and budgets.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure planning, design, and construction principles, as well as relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to professional excellence, integrity, and continuous learning.
