Community Manager, XP Music Futures


Summary:


XP Music Futures - a 3-day music conference in Riyadh - has an opportunity for a Community Outreach Manager to join the XP team.

XP is a sub brand of MDLBEAST - established to accelerate MENA's music industry. Day programming includes panel discussions, hands-on workshops and fireside chats with music industry pros.

Nite programming is dedicated to brands that helped grow the regional music scene - with music, live performances, dance cyphers and immersive experiences.


As part of the XP team, you will lead on building connections with our growing regional & global music community and lead our social media channels from strategizing to implementing.

Naturally, you're a people person - keen to make genuine connections within the industry; You will work closely with the XP & Marketing team to develop strategies for growing our community and strong social media presence.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop a comprehensive community outreach strategy online and offline.
  • Initiate partnerships with universities, music institutes, creative communities & beyond, in KSA & the region.
  • Building and implementing a clear strategy for managing, developing and increasing the popularity of the platform's social media accounts
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns and work to improve them.
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.
  • Manage social media communications.
  • Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign's performance against the KPIs.
  • Create a monthly social media content calendar.
  • Work closely with the XP Programming team to develop initiatives to bolster community outreach efforts.
  • Support in managing online community across digital platforms.
  • Ideate on content for increased online engagement & communitydriven initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • An executive with 34 years' experience in communication, community development, social media or relevant field.
  • Understanding of the trends and techniques of social media as well as the company's online presence to effectively handle social media marketing.
  • Proficient in English & Arabic (including writing skills in Arabic for captions)
