    Responsibilities

    • Work alongside productto understand our requirements, and design, develop anditerate
    • Think through complexarchitecture to build robust and scalablesolutions
    • Build well-abstracted modules andservices
    • Provide design reviews for otherengineers, including feedback on architecture and design issues, aswell as integration, performance andscalability
    • Follow scrum methodology toiterate and deployfast
    • Mentor other team members andcolleagues
    • Contribute to documentation,process andprocedures
    Requirements
    • 7+ years ofexperience
    • Expertise in various Javascriptframeworks/libraries including, but not limited to NodeJS and
    • Advanced knowledge ofJavaScript
    • Understanding of the fundamentalprinciples of asynchronouscode
    • The ability to write efficient,scalable, reusablecode
    • The ability to conceptualize,diagnose, architect, iterate and build systems, sub-systems andservices that are complex and enterprisescale
    • Advanced knowledge and experiencein web and server-sidetechnologies
    • Experience in both NoSQL andrelational databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL or similar databases) andan advanced understanding of datamodeling
    • Experience in one or more OOlanguage like Python/Flask (preferable), Java, Ruby,
    • Identity Management and Security(SSL protocols, data encryption, user authentication, authorizationservices)
    • Expertise inGit
    • The ability to work across allsoftware platforms at a high level frontend and backend, servermanagement, CI/CD, administrate third partytools/services/integrations
    • An advanced understanding of opensource libraries/frameworks and integration with third party APIswith a focus on Payments, Notifications andAnalytics
    • Advanced knowledge ofclient/server-side caching mechanisms across multiplelayers
    • Proven track record of technicalleadership, software delivery, ownership andmentorship
    • Superb understanding of scalablecomputing systems, software architecture, data structures andalgorithms
    • Deep understanding ofservice-oriented and microservicearchitectures
    • Expertise in AWS and its relatedservices (EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, Elastic Beanstalk and more) or anequivalent cloud provider, Linux and shellscripting
    • Knowledge of Nginx, Docker,gunicorn is a plus
    • The ability and the experience toproactively account for the edge cases rather than diagnosing themafter the fact
