to join our team

:


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

:

-
Develops and implements the program risk management plans

:

-
Develops Standard operating procedures for the risk management of the program and ensure that QIP delivers operational consistency across the program

:

-
Provides outreach oversight and provides coaching and guidance to the risk management program activities concerning day to day performance of the work scope

:

-
Leads forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program

:

-
Responsible for oversight of all risk management among our team

:

-
Responsible for risk management of all external and third-party approvals

:

-
Responsible for working closely with client and delivery partners for integrated risk management approaches, including authorities and any/all interested parties

:

-
Reports risk management issues to the Senior Controls & Reporting Director and develops appropriate recommendations/resolutions/mitigations as necessary

:

-
Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments

:

-
Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required

:

-
Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary

:

-
Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies and procedures

:

-
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

:


PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

:

-
Bachelors in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent from an accredited university

:

-
Minimum 15 years' experience in risk management on engineering projects

:

-
Chartered Engineer status is ideal

:

-
GCC experience is referred

:


SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

:

Demonstrated leadership and management skills

:

Strong written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills are required, both internal and external facing

:

Ability to work in teams. Ability to follow through. Ability to clearly deliver work instructions in a complex risk environment

:

Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize

:

-
High-level understanding and appreciation of risk management in complex risk environments and within the major program sector, preferably within the KSA

:

-
Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with an influence senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors

:

Strong organization and follow through abilities

-
Strong business judgment
