    JOB PURPOSE:

    • Promoting safety achievement and performance improvementthroughout the organization.
    • Developimplement and maintain EHS plan to bring the Companys SafetySystems and Policies into compliance with systemrequirements.

    KEY RESULTAREAS:

    • Maintaincompliance with all safety regulations
    • Practice safe working techniques.
    • Implementand maintain health and safety standards.
    • Establish a cordial and professional relationship withemployees.
    • Conduct regular staff meetings toshare best practice techniques.
    • Standardizehealth and safety in order to remain consistent.
    • Identify hazardous waste and disposing of it correctlyin the workshop
    • Prepare Risk assessment andSMOW(safe method of work)
    • Conducting riskassessment and enforcing preventative measures
    • Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensurecompliance.
    • Document staff informationminutes of meetings and reports compiled for management.
    • Regularly inspect equipment and PPE.
    • Regular inspect the work and activities.
    • Prepare and conduct Safety bulletin/ tool boxtalk
    • Stop any unsafe acts or processes thatseem dangerous or unhealthy
    • Record andinvestigate incidents to determine causes and applying preventivemeasures.

    KNOWLEDGESKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelors degree in Safety or NEBOSH DIPLOMA
    • 3 years prior experience in EHS department.
    • Registration as a Health and Safety Officer.
    • Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communicationskills.
    • Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice.
    • Knowledge of quality & EHSstandards.
    • Experience in EHS systemaudits.
    • Demonstrates a passion and aresponsibility for consumer.
    • Willingness totravel when required.

    KEYCOMPETENCIES:

    • Knowledgeof following standard
    • ISO 14001:2015 OHSAS18001:2007 HSE System
    • ISO 9001 : 2015 QualityManagement System.
