- Responsible for all aspects of design for structural systems for a wide range of building types
- Work as part of a collaborative design team as well with other disciplines
- Prepare engineering drawings/calculations
- Prepare detailed engineering reports/construction documents
- Construction administration duties
- Write/review specifications
- Review shop drawings/RFIs/submittals
- Conduct site visits as needed
- Bachelor s degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering plus 4+ years of structural engineering experience
- Master s degree plus 2+ years of structural engineering experience preferred
- Experience is design of concrete, masonry, steel, wood materials, gravity and lateral systems
- PE/SE preferred
- Working knowledge of structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc)
- Knowledge of commercial building materials, systems and assemblies
- Experience with sustainable building design preferred
- BIM (Autodesk Revit workflow) experience preferred
