Inventory Management

Monitor Inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs.
Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimise loss, theft, or damage.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Manage the "quarantine" of items for repair including sourcing suppliers to carry out repairs/replacements.

Data Management

Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software or databases. Knowledge of Current RMS is preferable.
Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements and trends for management review.
Analyse data to identify patterns or discrepancies and make recommendations for improvement.

Coordination

Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse and sales departments to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues related to deliveries, quality or discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on inventory goals and objectives.

Process Optimisation

Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.
Implement best practices for inventory management, including FIFO, (First in First out) and JIT (Just in Time) principles.
Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Compliance

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to inventory management.
Stay informed about industry standards and best practices in inventory control and management.

What kind of person are you?

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
Proven experience in inventory management or related roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
