Job Purpose:
As a Sales Manager specializing in software solutions, you will lead our sales team in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets for our software products and services.
Your strategic leadership, industry knowledge, and sales expertise will be instrumental in expanding our customer base, fostering client relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities in the competitive software market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration. Identify target markets, segments, and opportunities for software sales growth.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales goals. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance the team's effectiveness.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and strategic partners. Understand client needs, challenges, and pain points to position our software solutions effectively.
- New Business Development: Lead the acquisition of new customers and accounts through proactive sales efforts, networking, and lead generation activities. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase software features and benefits.
- Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement sales methodologies, tools, and systems to support sales initiatives.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline and forecast accurately to predict future revenue and resource requirements. Track and report on sales metrics, KPIs, and performance against targets.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product development, marketing, and customer support to align sales efforts with company objectives. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and implementation of software solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a senior sales role within the software industry.
- Strong understanding of software products, solutions, and technologies.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop innovative sales strategies.
