    • Monitor the performance of theDesign Consultant(s) to ensure the Design correctness andcompleteness as well as compliance with the scope of workrequirements.
    • Control and manage SeniorDiscipline Engineers of the Project Management Team with respect toDesign aspects.
    • Evaluate and endorse variationorders/concession request submitted by the Design Consultant(s) forClients approval.
    • Attend all meetings withDesign Consultant(s) his subconsultants and ClientsMeetings.
    • Review project design strategy andmake recommendation to client.
    • Suggestalternative materials/systems to improve process design futuremaintenance and construction cost.
    • Assist inpreparing a questionnaire for the prequalification of designconsultants and building contractors and assist in carrying out theprequalification and recommending a list of bidders.
    • Assist and monitor and ensure timely submittals of alldocuments from the Design Consultant(s) to all governmentdepartments until obtaining the final permits necessary to proceedwith the works until final completion.
    • Coordinate with the regional/home office to obtain therequired technical support to ensure correctness and completenessof the design.
    • Informs themselves of therelevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational HealthPolicies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International andensures continued compliance with these requirements while employedby Hill.
    • Perform other duties as assigned bythe linemanager/supervisor.

    QualificationsExperience Knowledge and Skills:

    • Bachelor / Master of engineering or from an accrediteduniversity.
    • Minimum 10 years experience aftergraduation
    • Minimum of 5 years of designexperience related to water and wastewater projects.
    • Experience in stakeholder management andcoordination
    • Experience in tender documentpreparation and reviews
    • Excellent verbal andwritten communicationskills
