We are a fast-growing GRC consulting and technology organization with a presence in several countries including the UAE, Canada, KSA, Pakistan and Qatar.
Management, Regulatory Finance, Training, Internal Audit and Technology services to a large number of clients including global, regional, and local financial services institutions, governments and other industry partners.
As part of our global expansion plan, we are now looking for an ambitious and agile finance professional with a strong background in private equity finance, management accounting, financial accounting & BD to join our KSA practice.
Job Purpose
You will be responsible for developing our finance business in KSA.
The role requires converting existing and new relationships into business throughout both existing and new operating jurisdictions and supporting clients with structuring and executing industry leading financial services programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Business Development:
- you will be responsible for:
- Leading the Finance arm of the business in leveraging its global relationships to source and secure new business.
- Onboarding new clients to increase the companies' brand and market share.
- Strengthening our existing client relationships through ensuring that our financial stakeholder management strategy is industry leading.
- Inspiring people and our clients (new, existing, and potential) by being an ambassador promoting
j. awan & partners at relevant industry and promotional events.
2.
Finance Officer - you will be responsible for:
- Function as Finance Officer for multiple clients of the firm
- Preparation of periodic reports with Capital Market Authority (CMA)
- Assisting and supporting both Internal & External Auditors
- Periodic review and maintenance of the accounting policy and procedures manual
- Preparation of monthly management accounts

- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Appraising the CEO & the Compliance Officer (CO) of the regulatory capital or liquidity issues and reporting regulatory capital or liquidity breaches to the CO & CEO

- At least 10 years' industry experience within a top tier financial services, advisory/strategy firm, or regulator.
- Graduate from a reputable university with a Degree in Finance, Economics or similar and ideally a postgraduate (MBA Preferred) from an equally reputable institution.
- Professional Accounting Qualification essential such as CA, CPA, CFA or CMA

- A highly capable individual who is able to overcome challenges and adapt to new ways of working to deliver results.
- Proven ability in building partnerships, collaborating, and influencing clients, team members and regulators.
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic advantageous), including the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the firm and with clients and regulators.
- Highly motivated selfstarter with demonstrable ability to work independently and problem solve.
- Demonstrable organizational and time management skills.
- Significant will and ability to work well in a fastpaced environment.
