Position Objectives:

Manage the assigned Project Control resources and allocate tasks and responsibilities for project control tasks


Job Description & Responsibilities:


Initiate and chair regular meetings with all involved parties to coordinate practical project control issues to ensure the timely and orderly execution of the work.

Manage the preparation of a detailed Project Implementation Plan and follow up project scheduling and reporting activities.
Monitor project progress and work performed with reference to agreed work plans, schedules, and vendor contracts.
Prepare a Project Communication Plan and establish communication channels with all involved parties to collect and share project information.
Create and Design reporting templates, and dashboards using Microsoft Power Bi as an expert.
Assisting Clients in contract negotiation.
Support cross-function team in RFI/RFP
Assure functional compliance for awarded contracts
Contractual point of contact with the contractor.
Establish a process to manage vendors' and contractors' contracts, manage change orders, and follow up on contractual obligations.

Establish Risk Management processes to proactively manage project risks, identify potential impact, and execute appropriate risk avoidance and mitigation plans.

Establish routines to collect, validate, and analyze project data, and ensure suitable project databases are implemented to store and manage this data.

Establish routines and guidelines for preparing project reports, with a special focus on up-to-date project status, project delays, blocking issues, and corrective actions; ensure that results are timely and correctly presented and explained to the Client in the required format, quantity, and quality.

Attend and chair regular project control meetings.
Prepare and submit Project Execution Plan.
Control and monitor project schedules.
Managing construction schedules and budgets.
Issue project KPI dashboards and reports to concerned internal and external stakeholders.
Implement approved standard cost and schedule.


Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Minimum 15 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in Project Control Management and 2 years in Contract Management positions.

Preferably Certified in Cost Control and Project Management (PMP/P3O).
Must be an expert in SQL, Database, Creating and Designing Power BI Reports and Dashboards.
Formal Contract Management Training will be an advantage.
Project controls, accounting, estimating, planning/scheduling, progress measurement, forecasting/ reporting.
Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
Risk management.
Financial analysis.
Earned Value Management.
Performance Assessment.
Change Management.
Relationship management.
Proficient with MS Office suite particularly with Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent knowledge of the English language, the ability to speak and write Arabic is required.
