Job Overview:

The Manager of the PMO is a key leadership role within the organization, responsible for orchestrating and optimizing our project management efforts.

This role encompasses strategic planning, efficient project execution, and driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful implementation of our company's strategic initiatives.

The Director PMO will report directly to the Vice President Strategy and will play a pivotal role in steering the organization toward achieving its growth and transformation goals.


Key Responsibilities:


1.


PMO Management:


  • Lead and oversee the Project Management Office, shaping its vision and mission to align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project management standards, processes, and methodologies to ensure projects are effectively and efficiently executed.

Project Portfolio Management:


  • Manage a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy and timely completion.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and maintain a clear view of key performance indicators.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization, fostering a culture of crossfunctional cooperation.
  • Ensure project managers and teams are aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Resource Allocation:


  • Oversee the allocation of resources, including project managers, to strategic projects.
  • Ensure resource optimization and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Regularly report on project status, key performance indicators, and project portfolio health to executive leadership.
  • Facilitate communication and transparency regarding project progress, risks, and opportunities.

Data-Driven Decision-Making:


  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations for project optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Analytics Manager to provide insights and support project execution.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Drive continuous improvement in project management practices.
  • Promote agile and adaptive project management methodologies.

7.


Risk Management:


  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while minimizing potential risks.

8.


Talent Development:


  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a highperforming team of project managers.
  • Create a culture of innovation, collaboration, and strategic thinking within the PMO.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a senior leader in Project Management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects and initiatives.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to align project portfolios with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
