Requirements
A successful candidate should hold a Bachelor s degree from arecognized and approved program in the fields of journalism,communications or related field with equivalent experience. Anadvanced degree is preferred. Candidate should have a minimum of 3years experience in journalism, media relations or corporatecommunications, gained in either an agency or in-house corporatesetting ideally with previous experience of the energy, oil and gassectors. Candidate should have previous experience as spokespersonis preferred, while a proven track record in crisis communicationsis also an advantage. Candidate should have strong networkingskills are essential and the role requires a strong understandingand experience of working in the media or public relations field.Candidate should be able to develop and maintain networks, performwell under pressure and handle a variety of requests. Candidateshould be fixable and have good organizational skills. Candidatesshould also be detail-oriented, with a strong sense ofresponsibility and accountability.
