Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Planning & Controls Manager to join our team In this role you will develop, manage, and/or executes all phases of the project controls effort (planning/scheduling and cost analysis).

Our Project Control Managers typically manages small to medium sized projects.

You will utilize widely diversified knowledge of project controls activities, and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Develops planning and design criteria for scope documents, and using acquired knowledge and skills, develops the scope of planning activities and support required for projects.
  • Determines the assumptions, methods, and procedures to be used in urban planning, and consults with the Project Manager when necessary.
  • Prepares original conceptual, preliminary, and final urban development plans and site layouts and supporting documents, maps and plans for development projects and master plans.
  • Works in conjunction with other discipline groups in the preparation of master plans.
  • Undertakes detailed planning and design efforts, and monitors project progress to ensure conformance to budget and work plans.
  • Undertakes the preparation of reports and other presentation material related to planning studies and projects and participates in presentation when necessary.
  • Assists in the coordination of the activities other project groups or functional disciplines and outside consultant to ensure proper integration of phases of work and to determine special requirements.
  • Assists in reviews and recommendations for approval of key urban planning and related discipline items.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) 15+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
  • Proficient PC skills including a proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices is required
  • Incumbent must meet Parsons Project Controls Manager Certification requirements
