The Role
We have an exciting opportunity in our Riyadh office for a passionate and ambitious commercial manager to drive the business development efforts in our Events, Exhibitions, Retail and Long-Term Rental markets


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities including new market segments, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, along with new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Displaying strategic thinking by seeing the bigger picture while setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
  • Working strategically and carrying out necessary planning to implement needed operational changes.
  • Managing new and existing partnerships, both internal and external, negotiating contracts, and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
  • Forecasting revenue and growth for the region, analysing sales data, and evaluating market trends.
  • Undertaking market research and analysis to inform the business planning process to ensure all business development opportunities are optimised.
  • Achieving forecasted growth and monthly/quarterly personal targets by following a welldefined strategy.
  • Being fully conversant in our solutions and advising clients on services and products through upselling and crossselling.
  • Maintain a welldeveloped pipeline of prospects and client data, updating status reports daily. Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of customer needs, while communicating pain points to appropriate departments.
  • Handle large projects which includes responsibilities but not limited to client meetings (face to face or online), sending proposals, and fulltime involvement until the project is handed over.
  • Working closely with the global team to identify opportunities and provide support and assistance when required.
  • In line with Lowe brand, always acting with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • Communicate and follow up with the design team to explain requirements to potential clients for briefs received. This includes preparing and sending design proposals and technical and financial packages to clients.
  • Acts as the overall support for the sales team, assisting newly recruited or less experienced Sales Executives in answering technical questions posed by customers.
  • Motivate sales staff and provide feedback on their performance.
  • Perform other tasks as instructed by the Management.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of two years previous Business Development experience, or minimum three years in a senior sales role for a large company.
  • Capable of working independently, with excellent organisational and time management capability.
  • Proven track record of successfully converting sales leads into tangible business wins.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate highly technical information to nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience of working successfully in a busy and diverse environment.
  • Experience of successfully selling new products into new and existing markets would be highly desirable.
  • Arabic speaking is must, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of creating or contributing to robust and persuasive client presentations.
  • KSA driving license is a must.
  • Ability to create and sustain professional relationships.
  • Proactive in approach to sales opportunities.
