- Support Capital Accounting Manager in coordinating with Commercial, Technical, and Finance teams for accurate and timely financial management of projects.
- Apply Transactional & Financial Accounting Principles, including IAS16 and IAS36 interpretation, for proper cost capitalization, valuation, reconciliation, and controls.
- Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to monitor project progress from an accounting perspective, reviewing cost estimates and accruals.
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA, PS (Project System), and Oracle PMIS for analyzing Capital Work in Progress on assigned projects.
- Facilitate the transfer of CWIP to Fixed Assets in collaboration with Commercial, Technical, and Fixed Asset Accounting teams.
- Contribute to annual project budget preparation and support Procurement and Accounts Payable teams.
- Assist in financial analysis and completion of assigned activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration;
- Professional qualification preferred;
- Experience using a project-based ERP solution, ideally SAP PS;
- Minimum of three years of experience working in a corporate organization in the project accounting function.
- Good working knowledge of CAPEX and OPEX and IFRS standards
- Knowledge of project based accounting and WBS heirarchy
