Provide infieldassistance for pre and postsales technical activities with aprimary emphasis on growing the user base of diagnostic products.Provide onsite technical direction and support to customers oninstrument operation assay implementation and accreditation ofcompany products. Make technical presentations and conduct productdemonstrations for customers. Work collaboratively with SalesMarketing Scientific Affairs Technical Support Service and globalbusiness units to identify and assess customer needs and providehighquality customer care exceeding expectations. Identify and workwith a variety of customer stakeholders to demonstrate how thefamily of Cepheid products can positively impact healthcareorganizations and to help customers to fully understand &utilize the clinical benefits/impact of Cepheid technology& products.

Job Purpose:

• Integrate Cepheid Systems and ConnectivitySolutions as well as assays into customer laboratories and providesupport to customers during the evaluation implementation andaccreditation process for a smooth and rapid GoLive.
• Demonstration/Training of Cepheid Systems and ConnectivitySolutions software and reagents to current and potentialcustomers.
• Jointly developaccount strategies with Sales Representatives aimed at increasingCepheid business as rapidly as possible.
• Conduct technical seminars and presentations atcustomer sites trade shows and workshops to drive thought leaderadoption of Cepheid technology.
• Provide enhancements for the development andoptimization of Cepheid solutions.
• Ensure territory status information is updatedas requested: including but not limited to installation andtraining records site visits expense reports and travelcalendar
• Participate inTechnical material development and ensure all FSAS customerfacingtechnical material is updated.
• Provide onsite installation of systemsmaintenance and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth and rapidstartup for customers
• Conduct proactively preventive maintenance andmodifications/upgrades reactive repairs and installations anddeinstallations in a timely productive and costeffectiveway
• Manage all aspects offield support which is not limited to system hardware and softwarePCs and networking inventory management for car stock and otherrequired spare parts
• Maintain solid knowledge about international &national/regional guidelines health economic studies &protocols developments in the healthcare services anticipatingpotential negative and positive impacts on the business to ensureall studies and material is provided to and understood by hospitalstakeholders
• Follow thenormal standard of work for documentation customer complainthandling installations training customer support and followup inSFDC as well as market intelligence data and report to the linemanager
• Serve as acustomer and maintain excellent relationships with customersensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through proactiveattitude and actions to optimize systemperformance.
• Assist thesales team with preand postsale technical activities both withinKSA to support a growing user base of diagnosticproducts

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete all assigned and requiredtraining satisfactorily and on time
• For people managers ensure your associatesattend and complete all required trainings satisfactorily and ontime.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Medical Scienceswith experience in Micro/Molecular Biology is a must (MastersDegree is a plus)
• ClinicalLaboratory Science with 5 years of relevant experience as aVirology/Microbiological Laboratory Technician or ClinicalLaboratory Scientist for Virology/Microbiology in a hospital orcommercial clinical laboratory
• Laboratory Experience in one or more of thefollowing preferred:

PCRand Microbiology Molecular Biology Oncology or Virology Patientsample collection practices and workflow Sample preparationpractices and methodologies Laboratory analytical diagnosticequipment medical devices and software

• Local language knowledge proficiency (Arabic)is a musthave along with Fluency in English ispreferred
• Knowledge in thelocal policies guidelines for quality & CAP/CBAHIaccreditations
• Handsonexperience with lab automation systems
• Handson experience withLIS/Connectivity
• Resultsdriven and selfmotivated with a demonstrated ability toachieve measurable goals
• Technical support and training experience in assays andinstrumentation for Clinical Diagnostics
• Expertise in generating commercialleads
• Value sellingskills
• Experience withcustomer base within territory a plus
• Strengths in networking and relationshipdevelopment.
• Strong oraland written communication skills.
• Experience with CRM SAP orsimilar
• Excellenttechnical presentation skills for group and oneononepresentations

Other Requirements:

• Required to spend around 75%80% onsite withcustomers
• Repetitive movements (computer andcartridge set up) and long periods of screen time and officehours.
• Valid Saudi motor vehiclelicense
• Travel is mostly limited within KSAbut will include some worldwide travel to UAE or France fortraining purposes
• The individual may be askedto do other job duties as required by the business
• Work environment: While performing the duties of thisjob most work is in a lab environment setting.
• May be requested to work overtime and/or weekends forspecial training programs or events.
