    General Description of Role andResponsibilities:

    • ERPSystem Management:
    1. Administer andmaintain the ERP system including configuration customization anduser access management to support project cost accounting budgettracking and financial reporting requirements.
    2. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize ERPfunctionality troubleshoot system issues and implement enhancementsto streamline project costing processes and improve dataaccuracy.
  • Project CostManagement:
    1. Develop and implementproject cost management strategies policies and procedures tomonitor control and analyze project costs throughout the projectlifecycle.
    2. Coordinate with project managersengineers and procurement teams to establish project budgets costestimates and resource allocations based on project requirementsand contractual obligations.
  • CostEstimation and Budgeting:
    1. Assist inthe preparation of project cost estimates budget forecasts andfinancial plans using historical data cost models and industrybenchmarks to support project planning anddecisionmaking.
    2. Review and analyze projectbudgets expenditures and variances to identify costsavingopportunities mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence tobudgetary constraints.
  • FinancialAnalysis and Reporting:
    1. Performfinancial analysis variance analysis and costbenefit analysis toassess project performance identify trends and forecast futureproject costs and revenues.
    2. Prepare regularand adhoc financial reports dashboards and executive summariesusing ERP reporting tools to provide project stakeholders withtimely and accurate financial insights.
  • Contract Management and Compliance:
    1. Collaborate with contract administrators and legal teamsto review project contracts change orders and subcontractoragreements to ensure alignment with project cost objectives andcompliance with contractual terms.
    2. Monitorcontract deliverables milestones and payment schedules to trackproject expenditures validate invoice charges and resolve billingdiscrepancies in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Process Improvement andOptimization:
    1. Identifyopportunities for process improvement automation andstandardization within the project costing function to enhance theefficiency accuracy and scalability of cost managementprocesses.
    2. Implement best practices controlsand internal audit procedures to maintain data integrity ensureregulatory compliance and mitigate fraud risks within the ERPsystem.

    QualificationsExperience Knowledge and Skills:

    • Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
    • Wellversed with Oracle Projects &Costing.
    • Oracle and ERP technical &functional background.
    • Ability to analyze dataand come toconclusions.
