Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations

  • Extensive mysql database administration experience in senior DBA function for large organization. Deployment, operations, tuning, backup, security.
  • Strong in data modelling, writing, tunning and optimizing statements in respective languages and scripting for Mysql DBs.
  • Line up all database schemata across all different deployments (Schema merge)
  • Ensure performance, security and availability of databases.
  • Prepare documentations and specifications.
  • Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
  • Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary.
  • Support Development team in query/structure optimization

Requirements:


  • Experience in usage of mysql DBs in public clouds
  • Amazon AWS, is required architectures deployment and support background, bot for IaaS and DBaaS (AWS Aurora etc).
- hands on experience with Manage cloud Database "AWS RDS, Aurora is required "

  • Minimum 8 year experience in DB admin/SQL developer position
  • Excellent Experience of AWS RDS setup and migration MySQL
  • Experience with ElasticSearch.
  • Experience with Database in Memory "Redis, Memcache"
  • Experience with replication configuration in MySQL "Multi Master
  • Master/slave"
  • Knowledge of defacto standards and best practices in MySQL
  • Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements.
  • Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.
  • Experience in NDB cluster/big data
  • Database performance monitoring and suggest optimal solutions.
  • Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat) experience and knowledge
  • Experience with other RDBMS
  • MangoDB, PostgreSQL both IaaS and DBaaS.
  • Experience in automation in large scale database environment
  • Ansible, Jenkins, Terraforms, shell scripting in CI/CD environment. Everything as a code approach. Git and code maintenance experience.
  • Experience with clickhouse, kafka and data transformation.
