Role purpose:


The primary purpose of the role is to provide leadership and manage the delivery of capability onboarding and ongoing competencies and development programs that support the business objectives such as onboarding curricula, ongoing functional curricula, coaching, mentoring, and leadership development initiatives for Sales and non-sales customers facing employees like (MSL, Product Manager, Market Access, line managers and others staff), and ensuring programs' objectives are met on time and to high quality standards with field coaching support focus on sales force and line managers for KSA country.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks:


  • Join the targeted staff in the field with a frequency of 10 joint visits days per month at least in alignment with regional L&D Lead and the country GM and sales managers for efficiency considering development level, current performance, developmental needs, Post training follow up for relevant trainings.
  • Build, lead and manage a high performing team to deliver and manage capability development programs such as coaching and mentoring, and leadership development initiatives for sales and nonsales customer facing staff to meet program objectives and deliver outcomes.
  • Build and leverage effective relationships with key business functions and other CVT teams.
  • Consult with regional L&D Lead to Identify, prioritize and address employees' capabilities gaps.
  • Provide on the job coaching of all targeted staff on foundational skills and knowledge.
  • Partner with function heads and L&D regional Lead to identify desired business results from coaching; coach targeted staff by uncovering strengths and areas of development and follow up on the development action plans.
  • Analyze and evaluate the coaching reports, CIE Index, competencies assessment tools and medico marketing quiz results in alignment with the respected supporting team to come up with recommendations and action plans in collaboration with head of functions & L&D Manager on where to focus.
  • Coordinate and/or facilitate trainings/workshops within the targeted functions.
  • Reinforce the use of all JNJ developmental tools and resources. Linked in learning, JNJ Learn, Leading Edge, Axonify, VX. etc.
  • Demonstrate the basic knowledge of disease state, product portfolio, therapeutic options and all related business acumen.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of local business environment, marketplace trends, and the CVT objectives.
  • Own the onboarding process of targeted staff and participate in hiring process.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of delivery plans across the state at various levels for streamlined and efficient delivery management
  • Review capability development programs, teams, and individual's performances periodically and ensure any gaps are identified and corrective actions are implemented with target to meeting program objectives and delivery outcomes especially for the sales managers.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of operational processes, guidelines, budget, and procedures in managing the capability development programs
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture within the team and seek new ways of operating that improves efficiency and produce better customer outcomes and experiences.
  • Provide leadership and support to different teams to deliver capability development programs with the target to achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Provide clear and structured reports, dashboards, briefs and any relevant documentation on the capability development programs' progress and performance to stakeholders and address any concerns and /or feedback from the stakeholders.

  • Main interactions: Working very closely with the MENA regional L&D Lead, Business units leads, Country manager, Line managers, head of functions, SKM, Regional /Global capability managers and cross functional interactions within the CVT and external vendors.
