Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (FM)
Find your next role with Adecco We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our client, a leading facility management company in Saudi Arabia.
The primary focus of the role will be to provide professional and technically sound installation, infrastructure and maintenance for all HVAC & Plumbing systems.
We expect you to have a strong maintenance knowledge of HVAC & Pumping Systems.Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performing inspections of equipment to ensure that it is in good working order and that safety precautions are being followed.
- Performing preventive maintenance and repair work on machinery, equipment, tools, and other items used in manufacturing processes.
- Installing and repairing equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, and boilers
- Helping to develop a maintenance plan for equipment to ensure that it stays in good working condition over time.
- Surveying sites ahead of fitting heating, ventilation, or air conditioning systems
- Planning the placement of pipework, ducts, and control panels
- Installing HVAC components
- Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely.
- Carrying out maintenance on HVAC systems
- Finding and fixing faults.
- Assist in the preparation of deliverables and products such as presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates related to heating, ventilating, fueling systems, and airconditioning (HVAC) systems for commercial and governmental facilities
- Monitors operation, adjusts and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment.
- Installs and repairs plumbing/piping/tubing.
- Design of HVAC and Plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and educational facilities
- Support the design and delivery of HVAC and Plumbing systems.
- Facilitate the preparation of HVAC and Plumbing technical specifications.
- Collaborate with design teams in producing HVAC and Plumbing construction drawings, studies, and reports.
- Design and drafting of plumbing and drainage engineering works.
- Conduct planning and technical feasibility study for plumbing and drainage engineering.
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Project Manager. Including, but not limited to fault finding, testing, repair, and preventative maintenance of all chiller and AC equipment, and other general M&E duties in support of the rest of the team.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 10 years' experience in maintenance of HVAC & plumbing systems
