    TheTraining Instructor Supervisor Avionics, will be responsible forthe supervision and delivery of both theoretical and practicaltraining, relating to Typhoon Type, specialist and supporttraining, and assessing trainee performance and evaluating theefficacy of the training system. Formal Training will occur withinthe Qatar Typhoon Training Facility (QTTF)augmentedby mentored training within the operational environment. The rolealso includes the day-to-day supervision and allocation of TrainingInstructors against instructional and mentoring duties, andensuring that all courses are appropriately staffed andresourced.


    Keyaspects of theTrainingInstructor Supervisor Avionics,roleincludes:

    -Actas the subject matter and curriculum lead for your maintenancetechnician area, including the supervision, coaching and mentoringof TrainingInstructors.

    -Supervisionof the Training Instructors and taking part in the preparation anddelivery of the allocated course in accordance with the authorisedSyllabus, and associated materials, in line with the trainingschedule within the Training Management Information System(TMIS).

    -Supervisionof the Training Instructors or nominated personnel for theinvigilation and marking of examinations andassessments.

    -Supervisionof the Training Instructors and taking part in the continuousassessment, evaluation and reporting of traineeprogress.

    -Coordinatethe aircraft and equipment required for yourcourses.

    -Supervisionof the Training Instructors and taking part in ensuring thattrainees use appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) andobserve safety precautions and procedures during practicaltraining.

    Supervision of the Training Instructors and taking part in ensuringthat equipment pre-use checks are carried out and associatedapproved data is available before training commences.

    -Supervisionof the Training Instructors and taking part in ensuring thattraining is conducted safely and that training areas, includingtraining aids, classrooms, workshops and ground instructional /operational aircraft are left in a safecondition.

    -Supervisionof the Training Instructors and taking part in the maintenance ofdiscipline of your allocated trainees at all times; this includesbreak times and during changeover between trainingareas.

    - Supervision ofthe Training Instructors and taking part in the reporting oftrainee absences to your TrainingManager.

    - Monitoring andverifying the quality and accuracy of instruction and assessment ofyour Training Instructor subject knowledge andskills.

    - Development andmaintenance of your own and the competencies of the TrainingInstructors.

    - Maintain closeliaison with QTTF personnel and ensure the upholding of processesrelating to Planning, Standards and Compliance and ExamManagement.

    - Actively committo continuous improvement as an integral part of the primary dutiesby identifying and reporting course deficiencies (omissions and/orinaccuracies) and improvements to the training system and materialsto the TrainingManager.

    - Deputise forand/or carry out any other duties determined by TrainingManager.



    Requirements

    Possessa Training Qualification at Level 3 or above e.g. Level 3 Award inEducation & Training, Level 4 Certificate in Education& Training, Level 5 Diploma in Education &

    Training

    Possessa minimum recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC level in a relevantaircraft maintenance discipline, or suitableequivalent.

    Recentin-depth experience, to a level appropriate for their role, withina Maintenance & Support environment (typically a minimum of5 years), including direct experience of supporting Trainingactivities.

    Understandsthe Regulatory Framework and its applicability to the trainingsystem, processes andactivities.

    Minimumof 5 years experience of supervising and delivering aircraft Typetraining and having operational knowledge and understanding ofinstructional delivery and mentoring activities, and the associatedbusiness key performancemetrics.

    Undertakesa range of work requiring a professional understanding of Trainingstructures andprocesses.

    Experiencedgeneralist applies understanding within and across a professionalarea of knowledge, including how solutions are developed andimplemented. Self-sufficient in all common aspects ofTraining.

    Undertakesthe more complex professional work of an area, provides a serviceto the Trainingteam.
