Overview


As the Tax, Insurance and Projects Manager your role is to lead and Run multiple operations in the taxes area (Income, Withholding Tax, Value Added Tax and all kind of taxes) to deliver quality tax services, that will ensure compliance to legal laws, primarily in Saudi & GCC countries, in addition to overlooking for other territories in case needed, as well help the organization in tax planning aspects.

You will be overlooking insurance coverages and all matters starting from coverages to balance the overall risks associated with.


In addition, you will be managing the key business Finance projects, through facilitating the implementation and coordinating the efforts between key partners in the finance communities.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and own the preparation and review of all types of tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms, for both KSA and UAE entities or other countries.
  • Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures to drive compliance.
  • Seek the implementation of company strategic tax planning for all necessary state taxes.
  • Manage all of the tax department inspections and all inquiries raise and ensure accurate documents are provided as needed
  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and build strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
  • Provide support with various internal audits and special taxrelated projects.
  • Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections
  • Work with external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally
  • Maintain up to date insurance policies coverages considering all key business risks
  • Manage the claim with insurance companies in case of claims
  • Support the risk management efforts through providing solutions to emerging risks around business.
  • Coordinate the enterprise risk management agenda and update the company risks profile with risk owners
  • Support and drive key finance projects through facilitating related projects throughout the function members
  • Review the daily transactions on a sampling basis to ensure executions are in line with governance rules

Qualifications

  • Certified Value Added Tax and Relevant Taxes.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
  • Familiarity with local tax and reporting requirements.
  • Strong experience with a variety of operations and the ability to drive process improvements.
  • Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to coordinate and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with partners and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.
  • Familiar with insurance and risk management aspects.
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Minimum of Finance, Accounting Bachelor's Degree is required, CPA or equivalent professional certificate is a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the accounting, finance and control field.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and get results.
