Data Specialist (Saudi National)

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define data management strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and business objectives.
- Implement and maintain data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of data across the organization.
- Develop and manage data governance frameworks to regulate data access, usage, and security, while promoting data stewardship and ownership.
- Lead efforts to identify, document, and understand data sources, lineage, and dependencies, facilitating data integration and interoperability.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data catalogs, metadata repositories, and data dictionaries to enhance data discoverability and understanding.
- Monitor data lifecycle processes, from acquisition and ingestion to archiving and disposal, while ensuring compliance with relevant data regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to establish and maintain data storage, backup, and recovery mechanisms, ensuring data availability and resilience.
- Lead data profiling and analysis activities to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and trends, and work with relevant teams to address them.
- Drive the adoption of data management tools and technologies, advocating for continuous improvement of data management capabilities.
- Provide guidance and training to staff members on data management principles, practices, and tools to enhance data literacy across the organization.
- Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data management initiatives and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and consultants as needed to support data management projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management).
Strong understanding of DAMA (Data Management Association) principles and data management best practices.
Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and data quality tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
CDMP certification, Familiarity with ESRI Mapping tools and python is preferred.
Salary:
ریال5, ریال8,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Medina: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
