You as a SAS Commissioning Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. An Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.

Your responsibilities:


  • Planning, preparing, and coordinating precommissioning/commissioning/startup activities leading to project completion.
  • Developing and ensuring adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule and plan, covering all aspects of precommissioning and startup phases through to handover.
  • Preparing and/or updating a comprehensive commissioning manual. Develop a reporting structure and accountabilities for the commissioning team.
  • Planning and coordinating the commissioning/start up schedule and necessary work with third party providers.
  • Developing precommissioning test procedures and documentation.
  • Correcting any deficiencies found. Ensure compliance and progress reports are produced in accordance with client and legislative requirements.
  • Liaising with government agencies where required to obtain necessary approvals prior to startup.
  • Preparing client acceptance forms and ensure satisfactory signoff is obtained.
  • Developing comprehensive quality, environment and safety commissioning plans.

Your background

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 year of relevant experience is required.
  • You will be responsible for Visual and physical verification of installation and connections System power up and communication verification.
  • SAS Bay Level devices integration and SAS Bay Level precommissioning checks and Bay and Station Level Interlock Tests.
  • Also, SAS Site Acceptance test and interconnection tests with Network Control Centre.
  • Substation Energization tests and SAS Feeder modification works, SAS upgrade works and Cyber Security Implementation and tests.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
