We are looking for an experienced and target driven National Key Account Manager - Healthcare to join our team in Riyadh and manage our healthcare account portfolio.

Your Role :The purpose of the role is to develop, using all of the tools available to you, business from existing and new customers in order to reach and exceed predefined targets set by management which include and no limited to: relationship Management, ensuring strong and lasting relationships with customers, positioning Kühne + Nagel to gain as much locally decided & billed business as possible, positioning Kühne + Nagel to be in a strong position to participate and win national, regional and/or global RFQ's, Tenders or Bids, focusing more on National Accounts under the consumer where Kühne + Nagel can make difference and secure business locally billed and to develop business on the trade linked with MEA, supporting prepaid traffic, communicating for the rates/compiling to the tender document and providing solutions and preparation of narratives.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Manage directly and Sell to Corporate Accounts, Global Accounts and/or National Key Accounts where present in country for the assigned Vertical.
  • Work on own account portfolio in order to expand existing share of wallet per customer as well as target new customers.
  • Manage directly limited additional accounts in assigned Vertical as deemed necessary and agreed upon by the National Sales Manager / Business Unit Managers.
  • Develop strong understanding of the customer organisation and decisionmaking process while maintaining / updating Account Plans on regular basis.
  • Act as the main liaison between Customer and Kuehne + Nagel contacts to ensure an aligned commercial approach.
  • Build strong relationship with as many points of contact possible to ensure a long standing business partnership.
  • Negotiate rates with customers in alignment with the BU's and ensures rate sheets are documented and maintained as needed by the BU's.
  • Ensure that account plan(s) is in place based on the Key Account Planning Process and template and signed off by respective Vertical Head.
  • Be the voice of the Customer and communicate such proactively within Kuehne + Nagel.

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • Extensive local market experience in relevant role either in managing healthcare account portfolio at freight forwarding company or an experience from healthcare sector with strong knowledge of supply chain.
  • Proven sales experience and track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Solid key account management knowledge and skills.
  • Strong business acumen, project management skills and ability to work effectively in team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and presentation skills.
  • Driving License is mandatory.
