Planning Manager Responsibilities Are:

Project Planning and Scheduling
- Developing, maintaining and reviewing project schedules in collaboration with project management and stakeholders,
- Implementing project controls methodologies to ensure accurate and achievable project timelines,
- Developing a deliverablebased progress measurement model and coordinate with stakeholders,
Performance Monitoring & Risk Management
- Implementing systems to track and monitor project performance against established baselines,
- Analyzing project metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement,
- Reviewing, checking and evaluating schedule of works,
- Engaging with stakeholders to develop delivery, recovery, and mitigation plans,
- Monitoring the work progress, compare of work and report to the Project Manager,
- Utilizing Earned Value Management techniques to evaluate schedule and cost performance metrics,
- Identifying potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project timelines or budgets,
- Developing risk mitigation strategies and collaborate with project teams to implement them,
Reporting and Documentation
- Preparing and distributing regular project control reports to communicate project status, progress, and forecasted outcomes,
- Maintaining accurate and organized project documentation,
- Developing and maintaining detailed deliverable lists in coordination with Project Manager,
- Assessing and analyzing the impact of changes to project scope, schedule, or budget,
- Collaborating with project management to implement change orders as needed,
- Maintaining weekly updates of Earned Value Analysis dashboard,
- Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports covering the status of projects,
Cost Estimation and Budgeting
- Developing detailed schedules with resource/cost,
- Monitoring and controlling project expenditures to ensure adherence to budget constraints,
- Collaborating with project teams to estimating project costs and develop budgets,
Resource Allocation
- Ensuring resource availability aligns with project requirements,
- Working with project management to allocate resources efficiently, including manpower, equipment, and materials,
Planning Manager Requirements Are:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction or related field,
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred,
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Planning/Scheduling roles in construction industry,
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Planning/Scheduling with Primavera Project Management P6,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial role,
- Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting,
- Proven experience in utilization of Earned Value Management in performance analysis and reporting,
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity,
- Fluent in English both written and spoken and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders,
