The PMO / Owner Representative will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction process of a state-of-the-art plant for the manufacturing important components of the transition to cleaner and more sustainable energy systems like solar panels and wind turbines in the western region of Saudi Arabia.


Job Context:

working as PMO / Owner Representative entails the successful execution of the project, meeting quality, timeline, and budgetary objectives while representing the owner's interests.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Act as the primary liaison between the owner and the project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Monitor and control all project phases, from initial planning and design to construction and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage the project budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control.
  • Create and maintain a detailed project schedule, identifying critical path activities and potential delays.
  • Proactively address any schedule or budget deviations.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in construction and equipment installation.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Monitor and report on project risks throughout the construction process.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams, contractors, and the owner.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
  • Promote and enforce strict HSE policies and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and easily accessible.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

**We Are Looking For: - Bachelor's degree in
Engineering,
Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in
    Project Management and oversight of largescale industrial construction projects, preferably in renewable energy.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel frequently to the project site in the western region of Saudi Arabia whenever needed.
