FINANCIAL RETURNS

  • You will ensure the management of all pertinent matters concerning the effective operations of the Recreation Department.
  • You will be responsible for maximizing all revenue opportunities through effective teamwork and development and will ensure that recreational and leisure facilities are delivered to brand standards.
  • You will be responsible for creating and implementing of all Standard Operating Procedures, beginning with a complete membership structure,
  • Ensuring that all Recreation department's safety procedures, rules and regulations are strictly observed by all Guests & Members.
  • Develop and plan strategies of selling the memberships, facilities and services to all prospective Guests & Members.
  • Design monthly reports for membership figures, membership retention and revenues. To ensure the smooth renewal process for each and every member.
  • Recognize opportunities to sell, add on sell and up sell

PEOPLE

  • Attend scheduled training sessions.
  • Participate actively in employee activities.
  • Ensure that all Health Club Employees adhere to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards.
  • Interacts, cooperates with other employees of the Recreation Department.
  • Interacts, cooperates with other departments as appropriate.
  • Interacts, cooperate with Hotel Guest and Recreation members as appropriate

GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Understand and respond to customer's needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Report preventive maintenance to ensure facility is maintained and in service for our guests.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Ensure only qualified persons such as inhouse guests, members and guests who paid the entrance fee are allowed to use
  • Greets and welcomes all clients/guests.

ACCOUNTABILITY


Being a Health Club Manager at one of the largest and most prestigious hotel chain in the world means that to maintain a high standard of service is imperative by keeping up the image of the hotel and providing a star class service and by fulfilling your duties as a Health Club Manager in the most efficient and professional manner.


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS


The ideal Health Club receptionist must possess a High School degree, at least two years experience in a similar position (preferably in the hotel industry).

Fluency of the English language; both written and spoken are essential. Knowledge of other languages such as Urdu and Arabic are also preferred. Computer skills are also required.

  • Degree or Diploma from a reputable institution in Social Sciences/ Arts or its equivalent
  • Previous Spa/Recreation Management Experience is a must
  • Self starter, with the ability to understand the business and link them to departmental objectives
  • Experience working with budgets, forecasts and presentation is a must.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operation. Market knowledge and trends are key to this position.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi task while working under pressure
  • High level of English language skills both written and verbal.
  • Previous IHG experience preferred but not mandatory
