This position main purpose is to originate and develop analysis methods to determine reliability of components, equipment and processes as well as developing and maintaining assets records of all Supply Chain facilities.

Collect and analyze performance data of Facilities equipment and operations and provide recommendations for improvements and correction. Moreover, he/she responsible for development, enhancement, and monitoring SLAs with internal customers and external service providers.

Determines the cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliability processes/equipment to avoid failures.

Accountabilities


Essential Function:

  • Work with Project Engineer/Facility Manager by using and adhering to the _Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) _process throughout the entire life cycle of assets to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
  • Plan and perform engineering research, design development, or manufacturing/process engineering assignments, including responsibility for major subsections of complex projects using general engineering practices influenced by the general theme of reliability principles to ensure sound reliability in all engineering implementations.
  • Participate in the development of design and installation specifications and commissioning plans along with the Project Team by using tools such as Business Requirement Mapping to ensure all operations, maintenance, end user requirements, governmental regulations and best practices are met.
  • Manage the development of criteria for evaluation of equipment and technical MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operation) suppliers and service providers and Develops acceptance tests and inspection criteria to ensure successful and continuous delivery.
  • Ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems by collecting and analyzing performance data and KPI and provide recommendations and action plan to correct deviations.
  • Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an _Asset Maintenance Plan _

that includes:

  • Updated Assets Register containing all relevant data
  • Valueadded preventive maintenance tasks with the team and service providers.
  • Effective utilization of predictive and other nondestructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems
  • Provide input to a Risk Management Plan that will anticipate reliabilityrelated, and nonreliabilityrelated risks that could adversely impact DC operation and manage the execution with different team.
  • Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect DC operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.

To fulfill this responsibility the Reliability Engineer applies:

  • Data analysis techniques that can include:
  • Statistical Process Control
  • Reliability modeling and prediction
  • Fault Tree Analysis
  • Weibull Tree Analysis
  • Six Sigma (6σ) Methodology
  • Rootcause and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCA, RCFA)
  • Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
  • Work with Engineering & Operation to perform analyses of assets including:
  • Asset Utilization
  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Remaining useful life
  • Other parameters that define operating condition, reliability and costs of assets
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Service Level Agreements related to Engineering and Facility Management with internal and external customers.
Employee's duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

  • Indoors : 80%
  • Outdoors : 20 %
  • Working Days : 5 Working Days
  • Days off : 2 Days Off
  • Working Hours : 8 Hours a day (1 hour break)

Job Requirement
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional or equivalent is a plus.
  • Business Analysis Certifications PBA or CBAP is a plus
Experience

  • 36 years of experience in similar role
Computer Skills

  • MS Office Suite and highly Competent in MS Excel Analytical skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistical, mathematical, and engineering concepts
  • Knowledge of engineering concepts such as lifecycle asset management, risk management, configuration management, and loss elimination
Language

  • English
  • Arabic
