The Role & Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring controls applied
- group and controls are appropriately documented accordingly.

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the fund's specifications.
  • Helping to solve operational problems encountered by staff on a daytoday basis as well as complex decision making.
  • Monitoring of fees receivable
  • Ensuring best practice s are adopted and improving processes to gain efficienc y.
  • Planning and organizing workload and helping prioritization of deliverables.
  • Implementing controls and review processes to high standards.
  • Leading regular Team meetings and allocation of works, Staff development training and monitoring
  • Assist with new Fund Launches to ensure these operate in a smooth manner.
  • To ensure timely and accurate NAV calculations are prepared, reviewed and delivered on a daily, weekly or monthly basis along with any other client specific reporting requirements.
  • Attending client meetings both at onboarding and launched stages.
  • Ensuring client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards on an ongoing basis. Oversight of Transfer Ag ency services.
  • E nsuring AML/KYC policies are being applied appropriately.
  • Review monthly service delivery and ensure Clients are provided a quality service.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years plus experience in a manager role incorporating the above functions.
  • Knowledge in Fund Accounting /Mutual Fund operations.
  • Strong educational background, preferably a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience in Paxus is required).
  • Proactive and willing to drive things forward.
  • An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Flexible in work approach due to nature of the role to meet client deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a pressurized environment.
  • Capacity to problemsolve and ability to deal with complex issues.
  • A participative management style that aims to motivate staff and develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Experience in the allaround process of fund administration including, Calculation of NAV, Pricing, Processing of Corporate Actions, Calculation of Performance Fees, Shareholder Services, AML and KYC verifications.
