**- Install and configure database software like SQL Server Database engine, SSAS,SSRS and associated database tools for versions 2019/2017/2016 on both stand alone and cluster environment.

  • Automation of SQL Server installation along with Service pack through Slip Stream method.
  • Should have good experience in deploying AWS Amazon EC2 instance for SQLServer version 2016,2017 & 201
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure services like BLOB storage, ADF and SQL Instance.
  • Should have good experience in migrating the database from on premise to cloud.
  • Hands on experience in exporting and importing using data tier.
  • Install and configure the new features like Always On in failover cluster environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving blocking and deadlocking issues replication issues log shipping issues connectivity issues security issues.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning Query Optimization using Performance Monitor SQL Profiler/Extended events/Query store and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Automation of SQL Server installation along with Service pack through Slip Stream method using PowerShell, Tsql.
  • Should have good experience in developing stored procedures,SSIS packages and deployment.
  • Monitoring and sending critical report on daily basis as per business requirement.
  • Good experience in migrating SQLServer database to latest version using side by side migration and also using in place upgrade.
  • Troubleshoot database problems and issues.
  • Develop and maintain capacity plans to forecast database growth.
  • Estimate disk storage requirements for database software, database files, and database administration needs.
  • Monitor database activities (i.e. database status, logs, space utilization, extents, internal processes, internal resource limits and long transactions) Develop and maintain utility jobs for database maintenance.
  • Monitor database vendor future product directions and provide guidance to customer upgrade planning.
  • Participate in designing, testing and implementing an enterprise Disaster Recovery Plan where disaster recovery services are within the scope of the engagement.
  • Should have knowledge on oracle and MYSQL Database for supporting migration activity and generating the report for business requirement.
  • Monitor database performance by gathering and analyzing database statistics, reviewing database initialization parameters, and performing benchmarks
  • Tune database instance/server for maximum performance
