Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project cost control procedures and processes.
  • Monitor project costs against the project budget and identify variances.
  • Prepare and maintain cost reports and forecasts.
  • Provide input into the project's risk management plan, including identifying and assessing costrelated risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance and training to project team members on cost control processes and procedures.
  • Review and approve change orders to ensure that they are properly documented and approved.
  • Coordinate with the construction team to ensure that project plans are feasible and reflect the project's cost requirements.
  • Conduct regular cost audits of the project to ensure compliance with established procedures and specifications.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost management, with at least 5 years of experience in managing large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management processes, procedures, and codes.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of cost management software such as CostX or Candy.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's construction regulations and requirements would be an advantage.
