    Major Responsibilities& Duties performed:

    • Ensurecompliance with Procurement policies procedures andguidelines.
    • Receive procurement requisitionsfor goods.
    • Issue request for quotations andensure completeness receipt of the same by suppliers obtainsconfirmation for suppliers participation and monitor receipt ofoffers on the closing date.
    • Communicate withsuppliers and follow up on prompt submittal ofquotations.
    • Communicate with End user fortechnical acceptance and discuss commercial terms with ProcurementManager.
    • Issue purchase orders for therequested materials and/or services on optimum terms according tocompany established procedures.
    • Analyze orderedmaterial for applicability for duty exemptions to maximize theeconomical values of the respectiveagreements.
    • Analyze and identify areas forimprovements and/or savingopportunities.
    • Participate in the developmentand reviews of buying terms andconditions.
    • Recommend suppliers or productsthat may have competitive advantage tocustomers/users.

    OtherResponsibilities:

    • Understand andfollow the organizational HS&Epolicies.
    • Follow safety instructions related totheir jobs.
    • Avoid any horseplay and abuse ofsafety devices equipment and welfarefacilities.
    • Report any accidents near misses orhazardous conditions to concernedresponsible.
    • Attend safety trainings plannedfor them.
    • Must be conversant with ComputerApplication and relevant material management modules such as SAPshall be additional benefit.
    • Conversant withthe Computer Application e.g. MicrosoftOffice
    • Must have clear concept of materialsupply
    • Above average in English(oral/written)
    • Must be familiar with market forIndustrial Goods

    Qualifications:

    • HaveBachelor Degree from any recognizeduniversity.
    • Minimum 57 years experience in thepurchasing field
    • Any other certification isplus.
