Responsbilities:

• Offers leadership, guidance, and oversight for activities in maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and repair of passenger vehicles and associated equipment.
• Oversees preventive/predictive maintenance and conditionbased maintenance (CBM) procedures, developing engineering solutions to address repetitive failures and various maintenance problems.
• Evaluates, develops, and oversees preventive, corrective, and overhaul programs for all passenger vehicles, as well as work and support equipment. Offers recommendations and aids in formulating corrective measures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• It is crucial to identify the training needs of all personnel and ensure that they are adequately trained in the Preventive/Predictive Maintenance Program for all rolling stock systems. Moreover, the effective implementation of contingency plans in the event of emergencies is essential.
• Examine historical fault data to pinpoint recurring failures and devise a strategy to mitigate these issues.
• Prepares and presents oral and written reports/recommendations to O&M Management as directed by the Maintenance Manager. Additionally, prepares periodic reports to identify potential problems, trends, or other matters of concern that should be brought to Management's attention.
• Manages the resources allocated to the Office to optimize the utilization of all assets, encompassing both personnel and nonpersonnel resources.
• Maintaining the necessary level of technical knowledge is essential to oversee and contribute to the resolution of complex issues with systems and materials, as well as to identify alternative solutions.
• Coordinating with other system supervisors is key in addressing complex and repetitive failures.
• Liaise with and oversee the staff of relevant subsuppliers.
• Carry out related tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

• Foster and ensure effective teamwork within one's own section and across different departments, while also building rapport with colleagues.
• Make certain that proper handovers are established among team members at the end of each shift to maintain continuous service and delivery.

• Ensure the integration of quality into the delivery of all work, in accordance with established policies, systems, plans, procedures, and work instructions.

Skills / Experiences

• Eight to ten years of fulltime, verifiable experience in analyzing the preventative maintenance systems, operational performance, and reliability of rolling stock equipment.
• Familiarity with passenger vehicle maintenance and understanding of maintenance plans for passenger vehicles.
• Processes and techniques of Root Cause Analysis.
• Principles and practices of statistical recordkeeping and reporting.
• Preparation of various technical and analytical reports.
• Clear and concise communication, both oral and written.
• Achieving the highest efficiency from assigned staff.

Education
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
